Enjoy swimming in the 10m x 8m heated pool. Lie on your back and look out to the hills. Relax in the sauna and steam room. There is a small changing room, shower and lockers outside the pool area. A booking system is in place. Details will be sent in your welcome instructions.
Tennis
Head to the tennis court. You will find rackets and tennis balls in The Sacristy which you are welcome to borrow. A booking system is in place for the court. Details will be sent in your welcome instructions.
Children's Play & Football area
Located next to the tennis court is the children's activity area with swings, a slide and climbing frame. Just a short walk away is the football area - a great place for kids to kick off some of their energy.
Giant outdoor Chess
You won't find a more beautiful place to play giant chess. Located in the grounds of the Abbey Cloisters, you can play in all weathers.
Gym
The compact gym is equipped with a bench, treadmill, cross-trainer, bike, rowing machine and training mat. A booking system is in place.
Snooker
If you fancy a game of snooker, head to the Club Room which was the former monks' refectory. (Snooker is not available to children under the age of 16).
The grounds & Loch Ness
Wander round the 20 acres of grounds and enjoy spotting the ducks and bunnies. Head to the loch for some Nessie-spotting. Please note there are some strong currents in Loch Ness and it remains very cold, even throughout the summer.
